Family Date at PoJos

A couple of weeks ago I took Halle to PoJos so she and I could have a little photo shoot in one of those Photo Booths...well she loved the lights and sounds there at PoJos so we took Daddy back there and had a great time. Halle rode some rides and Dan and I played ski ball, for sure, and some other games. While we were playing ski ball Dan accidentally hit a button on the ski ball machine and it started spitting out tickets, and they just kept coming and coming and didn't stop. After a long time of watching them just spit out and piling them up all nice and neat one of the workers came over, stopped it and gave us all of the tickets! Nice!

Not so tiny anymore

Halle is growing up so fast. She is sitting up on her own and has started rolling over again. And she has been eating baby food for over a month now and is so so good at it. All these changes are so much fun. Sometimes I just can't wait for her to grow up so I can see her walk and hear her talk, but then at the same time I just wish she would slow down so I could enjoy every moment. Children are so special and have the most wonderful spirit about them.

Squeals and Giggles

We were playing games and Uncle Cade would squeal at Halle and she would squeal and laugh right back at him. It was so stinking cute. As you watch the video Cade is really loud so focus in on Halle....enjoy. Halle is such a joy she lights up our world everyday.

A while back Daniel and I started reading Halle her books, at first she would kind of look in the general direction of the book and it almost seemed like she was interested. Whether it makes any difference or not we like to do it so we keep reading to her, and one night Dan was reading the book, I Love It When You Smile, by Sam McBratney (very cute I recommend it) and Halle did the cutest thing, it was like she was reading the book herself. Watch!

Halle's first Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We celebrated with the Hardy side of the family a few days before and had a nice dinner at our house and opened presents... and the highlight of that night for me was helping Halle open her present from Grandpa Hardy, it was her first REAL leather little tiny softball glove. Oh it is so stinking cute and I can't wait for the day to come when I can play catch with my little girl. The next day we drove down to Salt Lake to celebrate with Steve and Margaret, Jenn and Guy, Mark and Robert. We had a wonderful time! We spent some time bowling, going to a movie, having great family dinners and lots of other stuff, it was great! We are so grateful for the Gospel, our Savior and our wonderful families and for all the love that we share.

hanauma the bomba

Hanauma Bay is at the southern tip of Oahu and has the most amazing snorkerling, and I think almost everyone but me was able to swim with a turtle. Everytime I went out searching I had no luck, but all the underwater pictures they took looked awesome. This was Halles first time in the ocean water and I am pretty sure she loved it and I think she even got a little tan, I am praying she gets her daddys skin. I would definitely recommend Hanauma Bay to any and everyone. hang loose!

wedding a la hawaii

the reason that we went to hawaii in the first place was because my brother Curtis and sister-in-law Steph were getting married the day after the football game. they were sealed together in the Laie Temple, and what a wonderful and gorgeous event it was. halle sported one of her new hawaiin dresses and charmed everyone. we are so grateful for temples and for eternal families.
